NIKI FLUNDRA LIBERTY TRAINING CLINIC
October 19 & 20 (Saturday and Sunday)
Okotoks Ag Society indoor arena
You will attend all day, both days to get maximum learning and connection with your horse. If you are not willing or able to commit to BOTH days, please do not register.
Ground Work Level 1 - An introduction to liberty work and several ground control exercises. This teaches the participants a very effective approach to a higher level of communication between horse and human. In the two day course, students will learn not only the exercises but communicating with body language and how to gain a better understanding of balance, timing, and feel.
Participants are asked to bring the following each day:
1. Dressage whip or lunge whip to be used as an extension of their arm and to create clear and consistent cues.
2. Rope halter with at least an 8 foot lead (ideal, but only IF you have one).
3. Lunch, water, snacks
Member cost is $150.00

Niki asks that any members 10 and younger have an adult accompany them during the clinic.

Please note that the individual clinic cost is $567.50 Please notify us asap if you are unable to attend so that we may fill your spot with a member on the waiting list. We are following the Registration and Cancellation Policy found on the CRTR website.
ABOUT THE CLINICIAN:
Niki Flundra is living her dreams as she travels North America sharing her passion for horses. She is among the top of the field in the Equine industry as a Liberty Horse Trainer and Performer, Professional Stunt Woman in the Film industry and a Clinician.
Niki has worked in the film industry as a stunt woman and stunt horse provider. These include Shanghai Noon, Rat Race, Broken Trail, Little House on the Prairie, Into the West, Horses of McBride, and Flicka 3 to name a few.
Most recently she has worked on the hit television shows Heartland, Hell on Wheels and Zoo.
In Canadian Professional Rodeo Niki has been selected 8 consecutive times as Contract Act of the year.

Niki resides with her husband, 3x Canadian Saddle Bronc Champion and winner of the Calgary Stampede, Dustin Flundra, and their three sons on a Ranch in Southern Alberta. Her passion for horses and the western way of life is evident in all that she does. The Heart of the Horse event is a way for Niki to continue to share her love of the horse with others.
